The Astra S2 is the ultimate trike for stability, speed, performance and agile handling. Powered by the 100 horse power 4-cycle Rotax 912S the S2 can easily cruise at speeds in excess of 100 mph! The S2 is swift, but the trike is easy to handle either by a novice or highly experienced trike pilot; being well behaved all the way from the 38 mph stall to the VNE of 115 mph. Turbulence is mininal in the cockpit, and hands off cruise speeds are easy to set with the electric trimmer all the way from 55 to100 mph. Despite a wing area of 112 square feet, the slow speed handling is remarkable, and the stall characteristics are benign. The large wheel pants and pylon fairing help keep the S2 stable throughout the speed range.

The S2 shares the same comfortable composite seating arrangement with the rest of the Astra range, and comes with all the same comprehensive standard instrument fit as the Astra 912. Colors are available in white, red, blue and yellow, as well as metallic blue, red, and black
